Taylor Shanfeld, PT, DPT, PRPC
Taylor received her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Miami University in 2005 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2007. Taylor started her career practicing both orthopaedic and pelvic floor physical therapy at a hospital-based outpatient clinic. As her passion for treating pelvic health conditions quickly grew, she joined the team at Northwestern Medicine's OB/GYN office for seven years treating a wide range of pelvic floor disorders and perinatal musculoskeletal diagnoses. In 2017, she transitioned to Lake Forest Hospital’s Urogynecology clinic, part of Northwestern Medicine Women’s Integrated Pelvic Health Program.
Taylor has acquired most of her specialized training from the Herman & Wallace Institute and earned her Pelvic Rehab Practitioner Certification (PRPC) in 2020. She has presented on various pregnancy-related topics as well as urinary incontinence for the National Association for Continence at Prentice Women’s Hospital and loves furthering her education in the field.
