Laura Valentine, PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. Laura Valentine graduated with a Pre-Med Biology degree from Western Illinois University in 2009 and then attended Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and graduated in 2012. Additionally, she completed the vigorous year-long orthopedic residency at Loyola University Medical center in 2014 and passed the board-certified OCS examination for a specialty in orthopedics.  After staring her career path at Loyola, Laura moved to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital where she helped reinvigorate the women’s health program. She later returned back to Los Angeles where she enjoyed exposure to male pelvic floor and complicated cases such as neo-bladder and transgender transition cases.

Laura’s family returned back to the Midwest after welcoming their second child to enjoy raising their children with Chicagoland values.  She enjoys working with all populations for orthopedic patients, but her passion is for pelvic health of both men and women. Laura enjoys treating a wide variety of diagnoses the pelvic population including neo-bladder from bladder cancer, post-prostatectomy, interstitial cystitis, dyspareunia (painful intercourse), pelvic organ prolapse, and both urinary and fecal incontinence.
