Cynthia (Cindy) Sanderson, PT
Cindy Sanderson received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, in 1989. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois, Chicago, in 1992. Cindy began her career as an orthopedic outpatient physical therapist for Lake Forest Hospital in 1992. After practicing for many years, she began treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.
Cindy has completed extensive pelvic floor physical therapy training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Cindy currently treats women with pelvic floor dysfunction. Her experience in orthopedic physical therapy provides a sound base for her pelvic floor patients. Areas of clinical interest include treating dyspareunia (painful intercourse), urinary and fecal incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse.
