Bridget McMillion, PT, DPT, WCS
Bridget graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2012 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2015. She has completed advanced coursework in pelvic health and is a board-certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS). Bridget currently practices at Central DuPage Hospital in the Urogynecology clinic, part of Northwestern Medicine Women’s Integrated Pelvic Health Program.
Bridget’s clinical interests include treatment of pelvic floor disorders, bowel/bladder dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic and abdominal pain, sexual dysfunction, pre/post-operative rehab, and pre/post-partum rehab. Bridget believes in helping her patients feel empowered in their healthcare and focuses her treatments on compassionately providing patient education, manual therapy, biofeedback, motor control retraining, and exercise to help individuals reach their personal goals. Bridget currently serves as the Illinois State Representative for the American Physical Therapy Association’s Academy of Pelvic Health and co-chairs the Pelvic Therapist Special Interest Group at Central DuPage Hospital and Delnor Hospital.
