We believe that clinical and translational research programs are essential to improving clinical care and outcomes for the millions of women suffering from pelvic floor disorders. We are working to translate promising research advances into more effective treatment approaches and prevention strategies for our patients. Northwestern Medicine's Urogynecology Team possess the essential expertise for breakthrough clinical and translational research that will advance the science associated with pelvic floor disorders and will improve outcomes for women afflicted with these conditions.
Our physicians have extensive experience as leaders in surgical trials and patient-reported outcomes research and have published their work in well-respected medical journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, The Journal of the American Medical Association, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Journal of Urology, The American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Journal of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery.
